As part of our rapid U.S. growth, XNRGY is seeking a qualified Service Buyer to join its Service team. You’ll manage the procurement of assigned indirect goods and services that support our company’s manufacturing, operational, and office needs. Success in this position requires a strong communicator and strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and a solid understanding of procurement best practices. While the environment moves quickly, you’ll be supported by a highly collaborative cross‑functional team that works together to keep projects moving smoothly.   


An overview of your responsibilities!


  • Procurement Management: Source, negotiate, and procure indirect goods and services, including office supplies, IT, manufacturing tools and equipment, maintenance services, and any other non-production related goods.  
  • Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.  
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.  
  • Cost Control: Implement cost-saving strategies and monitor budget compliance to optimize expenditure on non-product items. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including operations, finance, IT, and Engineering, to understand their needs and provide effective procurement support. 


What you'll need, among other things!


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect materials in a field service environment.  
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing skills.
  • Proficiency using ERP and CRM systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.  
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high ethical standards.
