Job Description

Daily Duties 

• Perform brazing using a gas torch on copper materials with filler metals 
• Conduct assembly processes of valves and components onto compressors and evaporators 
• Use generic power tools, hand tools, and saws 
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop orders 
• Conduct first‑article inspections and report any defects or issues (dimensional inspection, check‑to‑print) 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area 
• Collaborate with team members across shifts and departments 
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and problem‑solving 
• Use ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools to track production and inventory 
• Be flexible — train across different areas and support other shifts as needed 

Physical Requirements 

• 5 years or more brazing experience with high preference and precision 
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. 
• Standing for long periods, majority of the day 
• Must be able to see the full spectrum of colors — cannot be colorblind 
• Experience with power tools and hand tools used for assembly 
• Must wear safety shoes; all other PPE is provided 
• Basic computer skills
