XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment systems focused on research and energy development contributing to the reduction of carbon footprint.
As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site Process Engineer to join the team. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, this position will perform continuous improvement and sustainment of manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and ensure proper quality.
An overview of your responsibilities!
- Create and update Standard Work, work instructions, SOPs, and visual aids.
- Drive manufacturing process enhancements based on production data to attain product quality and production efficiency goals
- Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with lean principles.
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions
- Maintain process control plans and ensure alignment with quality criteria.
- Specify equipment, tooling, and fixtures required to achieve process capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality during product launches.
- Conduct problem solving efforts using industry standard tools
- Implement best practices of manufacturing plants (lean flow, technologies, automation)
What you'll need, among other things!
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with progressive advancement
- Proven experience in Design for Manufacturing and New Product Introduction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills for coordinating with various departments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of CAD and other design and simulation software
