As part of our rapid U.S. growth, XNRGY is seeking a highly capable Sr. Material Flow Engineer to join us onsite in Mesa, Arizona. As a part of the Advanced Manufacturing team, this role will focus on the end-to-end design, optimization, and implementation of internal logistics systems to ensure materials move through our facility with maximum efficiency and zero waste. 

 

An overview of your responsibilities!  

 

  • Develop and execute material flow strategies aligned with business goals and lean principles. 
  • Provide technical guidance on layouts, system designs, and warehouse automation. 
  • Lead the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance material handling capabilities. 
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to optimize replenishment and process flow. 
  • Analyze and improve material handling processes using data analytics and simulation tools. 
  • Develop and implement "Plan for Every Part” (PFEP) strategies to optimize material flow and inventory management.  
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and efficient operations across material handling, line stocking, consumptions, and backflush processes. 

 

What you'll need, among other things!  

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus. 
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in material flow, industrial engineering, or manufacturing engineering, preferably in complex, custom, or high-precision environments (e.g., HVAC, automotive, aerospace, or industrial equipment).    
  • Strong professional experience with modeling and simulation software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, FlexSim, or comparable platforms. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects requiring alignment across multiple stakeholders. 
  • Data-driven decision-making skills and experience using analytics to improve operational performance. 
  • Experience with packaging design, dunnage, or material handling cart design is a plus.
