As part of our expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified Welding Trainer to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. The Welding Trainer is responsible for training, developing, and qualifying welding employees to ensure consistent quality, safety, and adherence to XNRGY manufacturing and engineering standards. This role supports onboarding, skill development, and continuous improvement across production teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Train and certify employees on approved welding techniques, methods, and manufacturing processes.
  • Design and deliver hands-on welding training programs, standardized work instructions, and operating procedures.
  • Evaluate welder skill levels and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and corrective guidance to drive performance and quality.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ramp-up of new welding employees.
  • Ensure all welding activities comply with applicable quality, safety, and engineering standards and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop orders to ensure accurate training and execution.
  • Support first-article inspections and quality verification activities, including dimensional inspection and check-to-print reviews.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and safety teams to identify and resolve defects, rework, and process gaps.
  • Promote and reinforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training and production environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process standardization efforts.
  • Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools to document training activities, certifications, and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting training across multiple shifts and welding areas as operational needs require.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 45 lbs as required by normal job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods of time during a standard shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to accurately distinguish and identify color-coded materials, markings, and weld quality indicators as required for safe and compliant welding operations (with or without reasonable accommodation).
  • Demonstrated proficiency using welding equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Willingness to wear required safety footwear; all other PPE will be provided by the company.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., entering production data, accessing work instructions, or reviewing drawings).
