As part of this expansion, we are seeking an IT Intern – Infrastructure & Cybersecurity


Position Summary

The IT Intern will provide entry‑level support to the Information Technology department with an emphasis on infrastructure and cybersecurity functions. Under direct supervision, the intern will gain exposure to operational processes, technical environments, and security practices while contributing to the department’s overall objectives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and oversight of core technology systems in alignment with established procedures.
  • Assist with activities that promote stability, reliability, and security of the organization’s IT environment.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing cybersecurity readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to documentation, reporting, and process development to support departmental standards.
  • Engage in learning opportunities to develop technical competencies and professional skills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental priorities.


Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
  • Foundational understanding of IT concepts, including systems, networks, or security principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, adhere to procedures, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
